While vacationing at Debordieu, Campbell, Peyton, and Cassell Fitzhugh coordinated a food drive in the community. The collected 21 bags of groceries for the people of Georgetown County.

“We are so grateful for the Fitzhugh family. This is one example of many who are helping others in Georgetown County. We are so thankful for all our friends of Georgetown County and most of all this family. May God bless you in many ways,” Bill Gaskins, Associate Director of Helping Hands of Georgetown County.

The food will go to those who need food. Helping Hands is open daily from 9 AM to 12 PM for food and utility assistance. You need to be able to present a state ID to get food or utility service. If anyone needs food, you will not be turned away,” said Bill Gaskins.
