Thank you for being an incredible part of our journey during Palmetto Giving Day 2025! Although we didn’t quite hit our ambitious goal of $175,000, we have plenty to celebrate, having raised an impressive $154,000 and proudly securing FOURTH PLACE out of 89 nonprofits!

Your efforts are helping us shine a light on food insecurity, equitable access to oral care, and positive youth development in Georgetown County.

Despite the challenges of decreased philanthropic giving this past year—reflecting a broader trend across our nation—we can stand tall and proud as a community. Together, we raised more than $4 million during this exhilarating 36-hour Palmetto Giving Day event, fueling numerous nonprofit programs and services that uplift our county.

From all of us at Helping Hands of Georgetown, thanks to all of you, our generous donors, for being a light in service to our neighbors in need. You’ve reminded us that no matter what challenges we face, our community will always come together for the good of serving our neighbors in need- even if that means hopping online to support multiple organizations in 36 hours!

Blessings and God’s Peace,

Brendon Barber and the Helping Hands of Georgetown Staff
