Paul and Pat Parsley, representatives of the Elks of Georgetown/Pawleys Island No. 900, stopped by the Helping Hands of Georgetown office to drop off a $2,000 donation.
Here’s a fun Helping Hands History fact: Pat Parsley served as Interim Director for Helping Hands back in 2010 prior to the board of directors hiring Sharon Thomas to lead the organization.
Executive Director Brendon Barber, Associate Director Lynne Ford, and YEP Program Assistant Deana Cooper were on hand to receive the Elks donation from the Parsleys.
“We are grateful to Paul and Pat and all the members of the Elks Lodge for continuing to support Helping Hands of Georgetown in this wonderful manner”, Barber said.
