From the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

At the June meeting of the Helping Hands Board of Directors, I announced that I will be retiring as Executive Director on November 30, 2019. I did so with a deep sense of gratitude and sadness as it has been one of my life’s greatest joys to serve this ministry and community.

I am certain that Helping Hands will continue to be blessed by God and grow and thrive in the coming months and years. Over the coming months, I look forward to leading the organization forward both in my ongoing duties and through engagement in the search process for the next Executive Director. Further, in response to the request of Board leadership, I have agreed to remain active in the life of Helping Hands in 2020 as a consultant to the Board and mentor to the incoming Executive Director.

As friends and supporters, you have made possible my work at Helping Hands. Anything I might have accomplished has only happened because of your love for this ministry and support of my efforts. I  am deeply grateful. I look forward to the journey ahead.

Blessings, John
